HISTORY:
Woodburning is the technique of using a hot piece of metal to burn a design onto the surface of a piece of wood.  Australian Aborigines have used this technique for centuries; in America it started in the 1800's and flourshed until the 1920's.  Now the interest in this ancient art form is once again on the upswing..
